Traditional Music Making was first started in 2009 to provide opportunities for musicians to play together, both informally and in more formal professionally led workshops. Have a look at our ' Past Events' page to see the variety of workshops we have held over the last two years.
We work with experienced and inspiring workshop leaders looking at all aspects of traditional music, covering session music, folk dance, listening music, ritual and more.
The workshops are designed to improve and develop musical skills and gain self confidence. We would like to encourage those who are either coming to music later in life or returning to their instruments to join us
We hope you will join us in creating a friendly and relaxed environment because most of all music should be fun and add something special to your life, whatever level you play at.
All workshops are for mixed instruments unless otherwise stated.
