Session

A beginner's session was started in April 2007. This has gone from strength to strength, with new musicians joining and others moving on, including starting their own session elsewhere. Originally the session was played at the Old Crown Inn in Uley, we have now moved to the George Inn at Frocester.

The music played is predominantly English, with Scottish, Irish and some French tunes played for variety.

Summer 2008 in the Garden

The session plays every Wednesday starting at 8.30pm, the first hour is a slow session to encourage beginners to have a go. Playing from music is not frowned on and we can provide Tune Books.

We also hold impromptu sessions occasionally so watch this space

Extra Sessions

We are still getting over the shock of Mike Reynolds untimely death. We feel truly privileged to have been invited by Paul to play in the George on the evening of Mike's funeral, it was a great honour.

We send our condolences to all of Mike’s family and the staff at the George and our very best wishes for the future.
